Originally from Iowa, Mary has been teaching various forms of group exercise since 1989. She has a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from UW-Madison and is an AFAA certified Group Exercise Instructor.
Members of Mary’s family include her husband, Greg, and her four adult children: Andrea, Allison, Brianna, and Grant. She loves music, dance, and art and spends much of her free time going to concerts, plays, and exhibits. She also indulges her creative side with collages and fiber art.
Mary’s fitness philosophy is: Keep moving and don’t be afraid to sweat! She believes that as we get older, we have to push ourselves to try new physical and mental challenges to keep things interesting. However, she also believes in finding a form of exercise you love that fits well into your lifestyle in order to do it consistently.
