Originally from Madison, Miss Haley began her training at A Step Above Dance Academy. From her elementary school years through high school, she trained in ballet, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, and hip hop. Upon high school graduation, she continued her dance studies at UW Madison. Here, she trained in ballet and contemporary and had the opportunity to take classes in dance/movement therapy. Haley is currently a member of Madison Contemporary Dance.

One of her biggest dance inspirations is Melanie Moore. Miss Haley remembers watching So You Think You Can Dance as a kid and admiring her talent and expression conveyed through her movement.

Miss Haley teaches because she loves to dance and she loves watching others find a love for dance in their own individual ways. It’s fun for her to share something that she’s so passionate about with the next generation. She believes in encouraging her students to try something new and to push themselves out of their comfort zones. She likes to push dancers to try new things even if they feel like they may fail. Miss Haley structures her class in a way that allows her to introduce progressively more difficult material as the year continues so that her students are constantly learning new things.
